Day 1: Beach Day (12km – moderate)
Setting out from a secret cave, hikers enjoy the fresh sea breeze and the sound of waves crashing against the cliffs. The path runs parallel to the coastline, offering panoramic views of the vast ocean. Along the way, lookout points provide opportunities to spot playful dolphins and, if you’re lucky, breaching whales.
As the trail meanders, the changing landscapes — from rugged cliffs to sandy beaches — offer a visual treat. The day ends on the beach, where participants can unwind, enjoy a swim, and camp for the night under a canopy of stars.

Between June and November, sightings of Southern Right Whales are almost guaranteed.
Reach the charming coastal town of Hermanus by lunchtime, where you can explore shops, landmarks, museums, art galleries, and local markets. Enjoy a brief photo session and a surprise pop-up by the Wild Wellness team before ending your day with a special local feast.
